Everything you need to know about shipping with Yakit. Still stuck? Reach us on Y-Chat or the contact page.
Many fulfillment centers only handle single-package or duties-unpaid (DDU) international shipments, which can frustrate buyers. Yakit supports shipping via a Yakit Hub partner: your fulfillment company simply ships domestically to a nearby Hub, which relabels, bundles and optimizes your shipments — so you get all the benefits of Yakit without changing your processes. Ask your Yakit support champion on Y-Chat to set it up.
Yakit gets best-in-class rates from its worldwide carriers, and those rates improve as more merchants join. Our shipping rate includes a commission. The goal is that you and your customer never carry risk on shipping, duties or taxes. There are no monthly fees, minimums or extra charges.
No. Yakit is purely a business-to-consumer (B2C) platform for commercial goods — we don't ship personal effects, samples or gifts. All shipments are duties-and-taxes-paid sales to your customers. You, the merchant, are the Exporter of Record (a registered business); your buyers are the Importers of Record, and Yakit provides shipping and duty/tax clearance with our logistics partners.
Yakit doesn't sell products in any form. Yakit is an international delivery service that lets drop shippers anywhere ship their products to consumers worldwide with duties and taxes prepaid — using our software and logistics. This is supported from the US, India, China, the EU and many other countries.
Yes — by popular demand, US merchants can now use Yakit to ship to US consumers, with the same ease as international shipments. Domestic service is currently US-only; stay tuned as we expand. You can of course keep shipping internationally from other countries.
There are no minimum weights or volumes. That said, if you ship more packages to the same region (e.g. the EU) with Yakit Standard, rates drop because first-mile charges are shared across shipments — so grouping Yakit Standard shipments can pay off. This doesn't apply to Yakit Domestic or Yakit Express, or to Standard shipments sent to a Yakit Hub for bulking.
Yakit supports B2C shipping from any country to any country. Yakit's own logistics services (Domestic, Standard, Fast, Express) run from the US. In App-only mode you can use your own FedEx or DHL Express accounts to ship from anywhere — just pay for Yakit's platform and landed-cost calculator.
Reach the Yakit team and we'll get you set up for simple cross-border shipping.
